We have our LID

Hello to all...
Just a quick note to let everyone know that we have been recognized by the Chinese Center for Adoption Affairs (CCAA). As of Monday March 6, 2006 we have a Log in Date (LID) of February 17, 2006. This is the date for which we have been waiting. Now, we can track where our dossier is via e-mails from our agency. Once a month we receive a "places everyone" e-mail notifing where our dossier is in this long process. Now that we are logged in, our dossier must be translated. That process can take several months. When our dossier is translated, it moves to the review room. And ultimately our dossier will make it to the matching room. We will then receive our referral. After that we have approximately two months before we travel.
Having said all that, don't ask me when........It wil be many, many,many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many months (approximately 10 months) before we get our referal. I will continue to post as I know anything.
